Mobility classes

Have you ever heard the term

“If you don’t move it, you lose it?”

Well, it’s pretty true. 

The reason kids are more flexible/mobile than adults is because they play in all directions. 

As adults we tend to move forward and back.

Occasionally side to side.

We workout, run/bike, strengthen our muscles and sometimes we stretch.

But without proper mobility, all those things can set us up for injury. 

And no one has time for an injury. 

Mobility classes with Jenn teach you myofascial release tools - foam rolling and tennis ball releases. Followed by the most effective stretches and strengthening exercises to take the space that your muscles have just received from loosening the tension. 

We work with the whole body, loosening up each area that can have an effect on the others. Because where there’s pain or discomfort, isn’t always where the problem is. (Often it isn’t the problem at all)

OUR TEAM

The Porch is managed and run by Jenn McKay.

She's a trainer, a coach, an RMT, a course creator,

a speaker and an author.

She likes puzzles and likes to dig to the root cause of what is holding others back from living life as actively as they desire.

Her patients and clients call her friendly and fun and a tough trainer/therapist.

Getting older and stiffer and having to stop doing the sports and activities you love is not something Jenn is willing to let happen.
